With the winter coming and the Christmas music hitting every radio station and mall, it’s time to commiserate our writing over this past season with our annual December Social!
When: December 17, 2015, 6:30pm, (so don’t go to the North York Library, you’ll only find a confused librarian and a locked room, sorry)
Where: Well the location isn’t fully fixed (but it will be with your preference)
- SpringRolls (Asian-fusion food)
- Frog & Firkin (British style Pub food)
- Urban Social Eatery (Casual Dining food)
Who: You! As well as a short piece (no more than a page) on anything about the holiday spirit whether it’s a poem about watching snowflakes dance in the air as you sip hot chocolate to a flash fiction of a Santa subcontracting his reindeer services to the Pigeon mafia it’s all up to you!
IMPORTANT: If you can comment below if you’re coming or not (as well as a preferred choice of eatery) by next Thursday (Dec 10) that would be awesome! Or just email firstname.lastname@example.org.
P.S. Due to a legal issue that I have to deal with I am unable to attend today’s North York meet, but I’ll definitely hopefully see all of you at our December Social!
