For those who remember my previous blog on the Dragnet anthology, I hope that you remembered to buy it and read it and enjoyed it most tremendously. So start weeping tears like a cook peeling onions as in recent literary news it has been announced on it’s twitter feed that Dragnet has been put on “indefinite hiatus”.
Three years, nine spectacular issues, and one anthology later and as now ex-Dragnet editor Jeremy Hansom-Finger is paraphrased, says it, the Dragnet team wanted to move on to do other things and quit while their ahead.
“Indefinite Hiatus” meaning party’s over folks. Thanks for coming.
There isn’t much I feel I can say, besides regret that I never got a piece in that brief window of happiness and that magazines come and go. So if you got a magazine that you like, submit your darlings to it, you never know what might happen, if you wait forever.
